Pastor's E-News - Wednesday, July 6, 2011

Lutheran Church of the Reformation

Dear Reformation Family and Friends:

While we missed Pastor Braaten's leading last Sunday, I want to say a great big thanks to Pastor Al Swingle, David Stawick, and all who prepared for, and led, worship.

Rev. Roger Dahlin will be bringing the message this coming Sunday, so I hope you will plan to be here to hear his thoughts on the gospel as he was led by the Spirit this week. We are blessed to have him in our community!

Looking Ahead

Summer Small Group Study

This coming Sunday, July 10, I will begin another small group study entitled, Close Encounters of the Jesus Kind. We will meet at 9:00 AM in the Fireside Room. All are welcome to join us! It would be helpful for planning purposes, though, if you would let me know that you are interested. You may call the office or e-mail me at office@reformationdc.org.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for August 8-12 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Volunteers are needed. Please contact Anne Sanyi to enroll your child or to volunteer.

Final Note

Please remember to keep the Call Committee and Council in your prayers, as well as Pastor Braaten as he travels and gets resettled in Virginia and Florida.

See you Sunday!

Blessings,

Diane Liesman
